Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Similar with The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. The reviewer began her journey around the middle of 2009, after she was popular on their forums. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of the Channel Awesome team. In early 2015, she stayed on the channel while Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed to Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. It reviews horrendous film that is aimed at kids, RiffTrax and live shows. The show also has a few times adult-oriented comedy. She began reviewing films late in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing community. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
