Nadia Elena Comaneci
It was at Montreal Olympic Games 1976 that she achieved one of the greatest moments in sports history and that was the first-ever perfect 10, on the asymmetrical bars. In the following years, she was able to score an additional six perfect 10s and became the youngest Olympic all-around gold medalist at just 14 years old. Not only did Nadia Comaneci attract attention from everywhere and help Romania to establish itself in the world map. With a score that was not possible, this sporting icon brought gymnastics to the forefront of the world's attention. It changed how people viewed female athletes. It was because of the impact she had during the Olympics in the same way that both move toe-on (toes on) and release are named after her. They've remained until today, as difficult. Apart from the Olympics the gymnast showed remarkable performances in her participation in the World Championships and European Championships as well, thus becoming the living legend of her time as well as one of the best-known gymnasts anyone could achieve. In addition, she modeled and promoted sports gear after moving into the US.
